Wichita Student Recreation Services

All University of Kansas School of Pharmacy students based on the Wichita Campus have access to Student Recreation services at Health Strategies, located at 551 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67214, directly west of Wesley Medical Center, at the corner of N. Hillside and E. Elm, 1.2 miles East of the KU School of Pharmacy-Wichita Campus. When accessing services at Health Strategies for the first time, students should park in the lot located on the north side of the building, enter through the north entrance and present their KU School of Pharmacy-Wichita ID badge to personnel located at the registration desk. All students will be required to complete a one-time health assessment form, afterwhich students will receive an individual Health Strategies key card to gain future access to the facility.

Health Strategies offers a wide range of recreational services including fitness center, aquatic center, cushioned running track and basketball and racquetball courts. Access to these services is covered by the student recreation fee paid by the School of Pharmacy. Health Strategies also offers other services including personal training, massage therapy, group exercise sessions, on-site child care and more. Some of these services may come with additional charges not covered by the student recreation fee and are the responsibility of the student. Please visit the Health Strategies website for a complete listing and detailed information of services offered.
