Wichita Tutoring Services

Tutoring services are available to all University of Kansas School of Pharmacy students through Rho Chi. Rho Chi is a national academic honor society which recognizes excellence and intellectual achievement in pharmacy. Student members of the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy Alpha Rho chapter of Rho Chi provide tutoring services to underclassmen who request tutoring assistance.

Pharmacy students based on the Wichita campus have access to Rho Chi tutors, based on either the Lawrence or Kansas City campuses, through the scheduled use of either ITV Videoconferencing or Adobe Connect Pro desktop conferencing.

Wichita based students who wish to access Rho Chi tutoring services should contact the KU School of Pharmacy-Wichita Student Services Office by email, phone at 316-293-3500, or in person to schedule an appointment to meet with Dr. Emerson to discuss specific needs and the curricular content area for which tutoring services are requested.

Once specific tutoring needs are identified, Dr. Emerson will provide contact information for the appropriate Rho Chi tutoring coordinator, along with a protocol for accessing and scheduling tutoring services.
